you know what? if you ever get your hands on the book that "let the right one in" is based on (in english) you should read it! its better than the movie, its more raw, it explains more about eli and oscar and in the movie they skipped alot of characters and horror sequels that are important for the storyline.
(sorry about the spelling, im not that good i know)

i used to be twilight BIGGEST fan i swear to god but thennnn i figured i would do some reasarch on the band that wrote nine in the afternoon. yeah, you guys! and so i did reasarch and i still loved twilight and then i looked at pics of you all and fell in love with your face ryan <3 and this is when i did reasarch on YOU! eeeeeeek! and then this is when i ttly forgot about edward and jacob and bella, whom i always hated, and i realized that music was my life and withought listening to your voice at least once a day. oh, im straying. well i used to love twilight and then i loved ryro. who doesnt? well the let the right one in movie looks good. i like creepy crawly blood and guts stuff. i always wondered if you did to. well at least you like vampires! i love vampires.
ANYWAYS! my D? death cab for cutie i guess... i love your music choices ryan and i know that you will never look at this because its two weeks old but i still type and talk.

pathetic attempt to defend twilight but wasn't intended as a movie... nope it was just a very intoxicating book for the teenage girl. and ultimately an atrocity as a movie, because nothing is as perfect as you can imagine it.

"Let the right one in" is a great movie, a bit creepy but surely great
I'm from Sweden and saw it a few moths ago.
I haven't read that exactly book but I 've read other stuff from the aurthor and he is really good.

Although everyone is hating on the twilight books, I have to say I still really liked them. Their target audience is for young adults, which these books were great for. Its not like Stephanie Meyer was trying to win a pulitzer for them, its just a fun read. The movie sucked tho.

By the way, David Bowie was a great choice, i have loved him since Labyrinth, classic!

Either way, I think you're a dork and I'm glad you like the recs! People have been making really awesome contributions in the other replies and I'm very excited to discover new music and some old favorites.

I do everything in my power to spread the Empires love. I can't even count how many times I have "accidentally" left a copy of Howl in someone's car. Coworkers, friends, and family members (even the ones who don't speak English very well) have had a taste of Empires. I can't wait for their next tour.

It's okay to be an elitist sometimes.
